Welcome to SpeedFix — the home service provider platform that connects customers with professional service providers for home and office needs. By accessing or using the SpeedFix app, website, or any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, registering, or using SpeedFix, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
2. Definitions
“Platform” refers to the SpeedFix mobile app and website.
“User” or “Customer” means anyone who registers to book a service through SpeedFix.
“Service Provider” or “Professional” refers to individuals or businesses offering their services via SpeedFix.
“We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to SpeedFix Technologies (the owners and operators of the SpeedFix platform).
3. Eligibility
To use SpeedFix, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
4. Use of the Platform
You agree to use SpeedFix only for lawful purposes. You must not:
Misuse or hack the platform.
Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
Interfere with other users or service providers.
Use the platform for fraudulent transactions.
5. Service Provider Relationship
SpeedFix acts only as an intermediary between customers and service providers.
Service providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of SpeedFix.
SpeedFix is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided.
Customers are encouraged to review service providers before hiring.
6. Bookings and Payments
All bookings must be made through the SpeedFix platform.
Payment can be made online or upon service completion, depending on the service type.
Cancellations must be made before the service provider has arrived; otherwise, a cancellation fee may apply.
SpeedFix may deduct a service charge or commission from each transaction.
7. Pricing and Fees
Prices displayed on the platform are subject to change without prior notice.
Service providers may set their own prices within allowed limits.
SpeedFix reserves the right to charge convenience or platform usage fees.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your location and service needs.
Treat service providers with respect.
Ensure a safe working environment for the provider.
Not request illegal or unethical services.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of a disagreement between a customer and a service provider:
Both parties should first attempt to resolve the issue amicably.
If unresolved, you may contact SpeedFix support for assistance.
SpeedFix may act as a mediator but is not legally responsible for the final outcome.
10. Liability Disclaimer
SpeedFix is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or services.
We do not guarantee the performance or conduct of any service provider.
Users agree to use the platform at their own risk.
11. Account Termination
SpeedFix reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that violates our terms, engages in fraud, or misuses the platform.
12. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content on SpeedFix are owned by SpeedFix Technologies. You may not copy, modify, or reproduce any part of the platform without written permission.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using SpeedFix, you consent to such processing.
14. Updates to Terms
We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on the platform with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of SpeedFix after any update means you accept the revised terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be handled within Nigerian courts of competent jurisdiction.
